Acceptable Use Policy
This Policy sets out the rules for using StreamVista responsibly. It protects our users, our service and our network, and forms part of your agreement with us.
Purpose of This Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes acceptable and prohibited conduct when using the StreamVista website, applications and subscription services (the “Service”). It exists to keep the Service secure, reliable and lawful for everyone. This AUP forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms & Conditions.
Scope
This AUP applies to everyone who accesses or uses the Service, including account holders and anyone using the Service through an account holder’s credentials. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP at all times.
Acceptable Use
You may use the Service for lawful, personal and non-commercial entertainment, within the limits of your subscription plan and in accordance with all applicable laws. You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account.
Prohibited Activities
You must not use the Service to:
- Resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent or commercially exploit the Service or your subscription without our written permission.
- Share, publish or sell your account credentials, or use them across more devices than your plan permits.
- Infringe the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of any person.
- Engage in any unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, harassing, abusive or deceptive activity.
- Distribute malware, viruses or harmful code, or attempt to compromise the security of the Service or other users.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract source code or data from the Service.
- Use bots, automation or scripts to access, overload or interfere with the Service.
- Circumvent, disable or interfere with security features, access controls, rate limits or usage restrictions.
Account Sharing & Connection Limits
Each subscription includes a defined number of simultaneous connections. You may use the Service only within that limit. Sharing your subscription outside your household, or attempting to exceed your connection limit, is prohibited and may result in suspension.
We may use technical measures to detect credential sharing, unusual access patterns or connection abuse, and may reset credentials or limit access where such activity is detected.
Network & Security
You must not take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure, or that interferes with the proper working of the Service. This includes attempts to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts or data, and any form of network probing, scanning or penetration testing without our written consent.
Content & Legal Compliance
StreamVista provides software and support and does not host or control the content accessed through the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service, and the content you choose to access, is legal in your country or region.
You must not use the Service to access, store or distribute material that is illegal where you are located, or in any way that violates the rights of third parties.
Enforcement & Consequences
We take violations of this AUP seriously. Depending on the nature and severity of a breach, we may:
- Issue a warning or request that the conduct stop.
- Reset credentials or restrict certain functionality.
- Suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, and without refund.
- Report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities and cooperate with investigations.
Our decision not to enforce a provision in one instance does not waive our right to enforce it later.
Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any misuse of the Service, security vulnerability or breach of this AUP, please report it to abuse@streamvista.tv. We investigate reports and take appropriate action.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the current version. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
