DMCA & Copyright Policy
StreamVista respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. This page explains how to submit a copyright complaint and how we handle it.
Our Commitment to Copyright
StreamVista (“we”, “us” or “the Company”) respects the rights of copyright holders and is committed to responding to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the principles of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applicable law.
If you believe your copyrighted work has been used or made accessible in a way that constitutes infringement, you may submit a notice using the process described below.
Important Note About Our Service
StreamVista provides streaming software and technical support. We do not host, store, broadcast or control the channels or media accessed through the Service; that content originates from third-party sources outside our control.
Where a complaint concerns content we do not host, we will, where possible, direct you to the appropriate host or provider, and we will take reasonable action in respect of any material or accounts within our control, consistent with our policies and the law.
Because we do not host the underlying content, the fastest resolution for many complaints is to also notify the third party that actually hosts the material.
Filing a Copyright (DMCA) Notice
To submit a valid notice of alleged infringement, please provide our Designated Copyright Agent with a written communication that includes all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with information reasonably sufficient to locate it (such as a URL or precise description).
- Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
Incomplete notices may delay processing. Please ensure all required elements are included.
Designated Copyright Agent
Send copyright notices to our Designated Copyright Agent:
Counter-Notification
If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our Designated Agent containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location at which it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court, and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice.
Repeat Infringer Policy
It is our policy, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, to suspend or terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers, and to take other action consistent with our Terms & Conditions and the law.
Misrepresentation
Please note that under applicable law, any person who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation — that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake — may be liable for damages. Submit notices and counter-notices in good faith only.
